 Working remotely with herbs and essential oils with Sue and anxious Pado in Cork In late November we held our first Canine Zoopharmacognosy workshop online where 8 participants and their furry friends all came together on Zoom to learn how to use the self-selection approach with their Dogs. Some were horse owners and had already completed our Equine workshop and are already using this approach with their horses but were keen to learn the different techniques employed when offering herbs and other extracts to dogs. (Click here for details of our next Canine Online Live 3-day Wksp) It was great fun with several different interactive elements ensuring no 'Death by Powerpoint' !  Workshop Kit containing herbs and extensive reference notes A learning pack sent out prior to the workshop contained herbs for human and their dog's to self select in order to experience first hand during the workshop how animals (and people's) taste buds adjust according to their needs. We also worked with Gunner onsite at Whitethorn Farm (Lab/retriever with stiffness/gut issues) and remotely with Pado in Cork (Belgium Shepherd with anxiety issues). All in all it was a great success with all humans (!) and dogs engaging with gusto and embracing the Zoopharmacognosy approach. Our next 3 day Canine Online Workshop is in June .
