Arnica macerate (Arnica montana)

Horses and Dogs may select Arnica macerate when presenting with the following symptoms:

  • Inflammatory pain - Laminitis, Arthritis, DJD
  • Bruising - emotional and physical​


Arnica macerate is an anti-inflammatory and analgesic. As well as working with physical symptoms it has also been successful in resolving emotional shock and trauma.
Arnica macerate is a prime example of why it is so important to allow the your horse to self-select. Studies have shown that Arnica supports the immune system at low concentrations but suppresses it at high concentrations - when an animal is allowed to self-select this scenario can be avoided.
