Neroli essential oil (Citrus aurantium)
Animals may select Neroli when presenting with the following symptoms:
- Grief, loss and separation – offering comfort and ease

Neroli is one of three extracts offered to animals suffering from grief (overt or suppressed) due to loss or separation. The other two being Mimosa essential oil and Orange Blossom flower water. The Orange Blossom offers a more gentler 'way in' with Neroli and/or Mimosa possibly being selected subsequently.
Interestingly enough, Neroli is more often than not selected by horses with Laminitis.
Top Tip!
When an animal is 'letting go' or processing emotions/memories of this nature, it is often necessary to offer supporting oils alongside 'emotional-release' oils to create an environment that supports the process.
