Angelica root essential oil (Angelica archangelica)

  • Emotionally closed down, disengaged and detached​
  • Skin issues caused by UV damage, such as Uveitis
  • Sarcoids, tumours, melanoma's


This essential oil is Certified Organic according to exacting ECOCERT quality standards and has European Organic Farming Certification


Whilst this Angelica Root is slightly more expensive than most it is the best quality that you can buy in the market and believe me we have searched! I have yet to find anything that compares to this Organic Angelica Root and seeing as you only need a little to get the desired result it's worth every cent in my opinion. Quality is where it's at in Zoophamacognosy - anything less and you are wasting your time!

Angelica root (not to be confused with Angelica seed essential oil) is often offered to start a Zoopharmacognosy session with as it helps an animal open up and engage. It can help bring a sense of inner peace and calm when selected. Whilst the organic we supply is a little more expensive than other Angelica Root essential oils on the market, I find that as regards effectiveness, you really do get what you pay for.

Top Tip !
When commencing a Zoopharmacognosy session if Angelica is not selected then try Cornflower Water, Orange blossom water (if anxious) and/or Rose Otto essential oil - often one of these helps the horse to engage with the process if encouragement is needed.
