Cleavers is rich in silica and will aid in skin and coat conditioning. It is a diuretic and thus extremely effective at supporting and toning the lymphatic system as well as fluid retention such as filled legs and windgalls. Combining Cleavers with Marigold flowers in equal measures will provide the ultimate herbal support for the lymphatic system.

This plant grows commonly in the hedgerows - you may remember picking it as a child and sticking it to your (or others!) clothes hence its old English name Catchweed.
