Shamanic Practice : Introductory Workshop - Connecting with Animals (Co Sligo, Ireland)
This introductory workshop in Sligo, offers participants an opportunity to make an initial connection with their Spirit Helpers through a way called 'Journeying' with a view to helping them connect with animals they live with or who are in their care.
On Saturday you will have the opportunity to Journey to the Drum to meet with your Spirit Helpers in order to form the initial connection.
On Sunday you will have the opportunity to journey to an animal you are close to to ask if and how, if at all, you can help. For more info see below under 'Shamanic Healing & Practice'.

This 2 day workshop is hosted by Carly Hillier, who works with Shamanic Practice alongside her work as an Animal Herbalist.
The workshop fee includes tea/coffee throughout both days although participants are required to bring their own lunch. There is a kitchen and dining room and the building and facilities are wheelchair accessible.
Coming a distance? There is accomodation on site in beautiful purpose built fully equipped cabins up in the Ox mountains within the grounds of the centre.

Shamanism in it's essence is about connection - not only to those animals that we share our lives with, but also essentially to ourselves. Restoring connection to ourselves and our animals enables us to heal and help us and our animals step back into Power so we can all live a Power-filled existence.
This course introduces ways used by shamans throughout the world to enable them access the Spirit World AND to bring that wisdom, healing, guidance and power back to this reality we live in; for this is where we need the help. It is by this means also that we can connect with our animals to bring them the help they may need.
We are all, including our animal friends, connected to and part of the power of the Universe. When we experience that connection we are naturally power filled. The shaman's way of connection are ways we can all learn and this weekend course supports that learning and also invites us to bring the gifts of this into our own life and especially into our relationships with the animals we share within it. Through the shaman's way, we learn to listen to and engage more deeply with the animals in our world, we come to hear what they wish to share with us, we learn directly what we can do for them and help enrich their life through these ways of connection.
