Marigold Flowers Certified Organic (Calendula officinalis)
Horses may select Marigold Flowers for the following conditions:
- Anxiety
- Digestive disorders - gastric ulcers
- Inflammatory conditions
- Lymphangitis - offer with cleavers
- Skin disorders - allergies
- Swellings
- Urinary infection - Cystitis
- Tannin poisoning
Marigold flowers (also called Calendula) may be selected for digestive inflammation such as ulcers. They may also be selected in the case of inflammatory skin and urinary conditions.
Marigold flowers can also be sequentially selected when offered alongside Devil's Claw as they are saponin-rich which helps to counter-act the high levels of tannin found within Devil's Claw. This is also why they may be selected in the case of Acorn poisoning.

Marigold flowers combined with Cleavers in equal amounts, provides an excellent mix for the lymphatic and urinary system. Always offer individual herbs first to ascertain the horses' preferences
