Barley Grass is an extremely nutritious super food containing all the essential amino acids required by equines that they are unable to produce themselves. It is particularly helpful for horses that are nervous and spooky (due to high magnesium content) or for the older horse whose digestive system is impaired.
Horses often select it when fodder/grazing quality is poor and need a top up of minerals and vitamins.

Lightly wet the scoop first with water before placing the powder in it for offering - thus avoiding your horse inhaling the dry powder which may put him/her off an otherwise needed supplement.
