Our Applied Equine Zoopharmacognosy Workshops, held in Co Sligo, NW of Ireland aims to give the participant a productive learning experience in a 'hands on' friendly yet professional environment.
The Level 1 course aims to equip the participant with the knowledge and skill base of offering plant extracts according to presenting symptoms at a basic level. Level 2 builds on Level 1 by going into more depth on such issues as working with 'triggers', trauma, the process, emergencies & first aid and lots more! |

On the second day participants are encouraged to commence offering themselves under the guidance of Carly. This will give participants confidence to start offering at home.

Level 2 |
Expanding your knowledge and experienceLevel 2 workshop encourages the participants to delve deeper into the nuances of Equine Applied Zoopharmacognosy. It very much builds on Level 1 in that we learn more of the processes and methodology enabling a successful outcome. Issues such as 'which extract to offer first', how to work with trauma and triggers as well as offering in emergencies are discussed and where possible practical experienced gained. In Level 2 students can expect to be far more 'hands on' than in Level 1 engaging with practicals on both days. Ideally, students will have had practice of using the extracts for a minimum of 6 months after having attended Level 1.

"I attended Carly's Equine Zoopharmacognosy workshop and can only recommend it. If you open and broaden your mind it will be an eye opener of what becomes possible if we give our horses a voice. You will learn a lot about different essential oils and plants and uses. Beyond the theory, it is all being put into practice with different horses to practice on and to see self-selection in action. Packed with information, very practical and also lots of fun!" Isabell, Workshop attendee spring 2018
