Neem powder (Azadirachta indica)

A horse may select  Neem powder when presenting with the following symptoms:
  • ​External Parasites - mites, lice
  • Fungal infections
  • Sweet Itch – as an insect repellent
  • Worms

Neem has been shown to prevent cell division in insects thus preventing them from developing. If there is strong evidence of parasites and the Neem powder is not selected, offer Neem oil as through inhalation this can access the blood stream directly via the lungs.
