Shamanic Session for you!
Why should you look for Shamanic Healing when it is your pet that needs the help?
Whilst sometimes it is indeed your pet that needs help, sometimes it is also the carer that needs the help the most. Or sometimes both!
Peer reviewed research has shown that human levels of stress (shown by raised levels of the stress hormone cortisol) impact upon the animals that we share our homes with. A relatively recent study (2019) showed that cortisol levels in pets became elevated to the same level as their human carers - showing that our mental health and stress levels impact upon the health and well being of the animals we share our homes with. Therefore your mental health is just as important as your animals!

Shamanic Healing is an ancient form of healing which all indigenous cultures have a version of in their cultural history. The particular type of Shamanic Practice that I practice is called Core Shamanism which has been developed by Michael Harner whom travelled the world living with and studying numerous indigenous cultures to identify the core practices to create a methodology for the western world. It is this particular approach that I have worked with since 2004 helping people and animals onsite (in Sligo) and also via zoom (worldwide) since 2006.
People (and animals) that have benefited from Shamanic work have come with a myriad of issues - from trauma to grief to powerlessness. It is the Practitioner's aim (with help through Connection) to help a person/animal reconnect with their Power (soul retrieval), remove unhelpful energy and/or to bring healing for emotional wounding.
Like Applied Zoopharmacognosy, Shamanic Practice and work seeks to Empower the human and animal alike. When we are Empowered and reconnected with our own Power we can step into a new space, healed and more whole. This benefits ourselves, those immediately around us, our communities and the wider planet.
