Deepening your Connection with Animals: Shamanic Practice workshop, Sligo Spring 2026

This Shamanic Animal-themed weekend workshop (Friday to Sunday), offers participants to deepen their connection with their Spirit Helpers through 'Journeying' to the Drum with a view to bringing help, healing and guidance in relation to animals they live with or are in their care. Participants must have either attended our Introduction to Shamanic Practice workshop (or agreed equivalent) and feel comfortable with Journeying to the Drum
This workshop is hosted by Carly Hillier, an experienced Shamanic Practitioner and group faciliator.
The workshop fee includes tea/coffee throughout both days although participants are asked to bring their own lunch.
No's are limited to 12 people so if this is something that you feel you would like to do, please put your deposit down or pay in full as soon as possible!

Shamanic Practice and Healing
Shamanism in it's essence is about connection - not only to those animals that we share our lives with, but also essentially to ourselves. Restoring connection to ourselves and our animals enables us to heal and help us and our animals step back into Power so we can all live a Power-filled existence.
This course is a follow on from the orignical 'Connecting with animals' workshop and seeks to reaffirm and develop your connection with your Spirit Helpers and your animals bringing healing and guidance for all
Techniques used at this workshop have enabled Shamans throughout the world to access the Spirit World AND just as importantly, to bring that wisdom, healing, guidance and power back to this reality we live in; for this is where we need the help. It is by this means also that we can connect with our animals to bring them the help they may need.
We are all, including our animal friends, connected to and part of the power of the Universe. When we experience that connection we are naturally power filled. The shaman's way of connecting to the Universal Power are ways that we can all learn and practice, and this weekend course supports the continued practice and also invites us to bring the gifts of this into our own life and especially into our relationships with the animals we share within it. Through the shaman's way, we learn to listen to and engage more deeply with the animals in our world, we come to hear what they wish to share with us, we learn directly what we can do for them and help enrich their life through these ways of connection. Through all of this you will also be supported by Carly and the Spirits.
