Discover how this approach can help keep your horse sound and well. Learn how this natural approach can be employed to significantly improve and in a lot of cases fully resolve everyday equine issues such as rain scald, abscesses as well as more long term chronic diseases such as Laminitis, PPID (Cushings), Recurrent Airway Obstruction/COPD.
This approach is also a great resource for emergency situations such as shock, injury and choke as well as some Colic's (whilst awaiting veterinary attendance).
This half day workshop aims to give the attendee a brief introduction to the concept and methodology of Equine Applied Zoopharmacognosy and how this approach can be used as part of an effective equine healthcare regime.

The 1/2 day workshop commences with a talk explaining how horses can restore and maintain health in a domestic setting when given the opportunity to self-select plant extracts with reference to Case studies. The talk is then followed by a demonstration of 'offering and selecting' in a stable offering a horse therapeutic grade medicinal plant extracts according to presenting symptoms.
