Come to Donoughmore (NW Co Cork), on Sun the 1st Sept and learn about Herbs, Horses and Applied Zoopharmacognosy! Discover how this method can be used to work with all sorts of equine ailments from injuries & wounds to Laminitis, PPID, RAO etc
Equine Zoopharmacognosy is the horses innate ability to stay healthy in the wild by foraging for medicinal plants. The day will commence with a talk explaining how and why horses do this, followed by a demonstration of how horses in a domestic setting (called Applied Equine Zoopharmacognosy) can select therapeutic grade medicinal plant extracts according to presenting symptoms in order to restore and maintain health.
Between the talk and the Demo light refreshments will be served.
Please wear outdoor warm clothing as the talk and demo will be outside!
